The Tempino 'Ness Toll Road Enters The Functional Feasibility Test Stage
JAKARTA - Before being operated to serve the mobility of southern Sumatra, the Betung Toll Road (Sp Sekayu) "Tempino" Jambi Section 4 Tempino "Ness is now entering the Functional and Operational Feasibility Test (ULFO) stage.
EVP Corporate Secretary Hutama Karya Adjib Al Hakim said the ULFO carried out was a form of responsibility and commitment from the company in providing national standard toll road infrastructure to be ready to operate optimally for users.
"Previously, the Provisional Hand Over (PHO) for this section of the toll road project was successfully implemented on July 15-18," said Adjib in a written statement, Friday, August 8.
After the ULFO is completed, the Functional and Operational LIKE Certificate (SLFO) can be issued immediately, indicating that the toll road is ready to be operated publicly.
In line with the laws and regulations, all stages of ULFO are carried out based on the Minister of Public Works Regulation and national testing standards.
The activity was also initiated with the Directorate General of Highways of the Ministry of Public Works, involving elements of road organizers, traffic controllers, police Traffic Corps and national toll road regulators.
The ULFO series includes, first is technical inspection in the field. The series starts from the main road structure aspect, road shoulder, drainage system to safety signs. The second is a review of the completeness of administrative documents which are the main requirements for operating certification.
Previously, the Betung Toll Road (Sp Sekayu) of Tempino Jambi Section 3 Bayung Lencir (Tempino) had been fully operational.
According to Adjib, the presence of the Betung Toll Road (Sp Sekayu) 'Tempino' Jambi Section 4 Tempino' Ness will facilitate community mobility and logistics in the Jambi and South Sumatra areas.
The presence of the toll road will cut Jambi Betung's travel time, which was originally four hours to about two hours, reducing congestion on the Sumatra highway, which has been an arterial distribution of natural resources, including coal transportation.
Meanwhile, specifically from Bayung Lencir, which is the limit for South Sumatra Province to Sp Ness in Jambi from about 3 hours via Jalan Lintas Sumatra to only 45 minutes with the operation of Section 4.
According to him, the main benefit of the toll road is not only to increase travel efficiency and reduce logistics costs, but also increase the competitiveness of the surrounding industrial area.
"Through this test, we ensure that toll roads really meet safety standards and have a real impact on the transportation sector and the regional economy," he concluded.

Untuk diketahui, Jalan Tol Betung (Sp Sekayu)–Tempino–Jambi Seksi 4 Tempino–Ness dibangun dengan dua lajur per arah, bahu jalan luar-dalam, sistem drainase modern, akses on-off ramp dan rambu penunjang keselamatan.
Selain itu, juga dilengkapi fasilitas darurat meliputi pos pemantauan, penerangan jalan umum (PJU) serta sistem pemantauan CCTV untuk mendukung keamanan 24 jam.

To note, the Betung Toll Road (Sp Sekayu) 'Tempino' Jambi Section 4 Tempino'Ness was built with two lanes per direction, shoulders of the outer and interior road, modern drainage system, on-off ramp access and safety support signs.
In addition, it is also equipped with emergency facilities including monitoring posts, public street lighting (PJU) and CCTV monitoring systems to support 24-hour security.
