Pramono Explains The Silent Reason For Groundbreaking Pusaka Flag Park: Someone Wants To Disturb

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung clarified the groundbreaking activities for the construction of the Heritage Flag Park which were carried out secretly and not open to the public.

Groundbreaking was carried out at around 14.00 WIB. Meanwhile, since this morning, some Barito Animal Market traders have held demonstrations refusing to be relocated due to their stalls being included in the Pusaka Flag Park development area.

Pramono decided to continue to inaugurate the construction of three parks that will be united, namely Langsat Park, Ayodya Park, and Leuser Park, without any announcement regarding the certainty of the schedule.

"Indeed, I specifically want the groundbreaking issue for the Pusaka Flag Park to go well," said Pramono at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Friday, August 8.

Pramono invited the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia Megawati Soekarnoputri and the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD Khoirudin. Pramono admitted that he wanted the event to take place well.

Meanwhile, in recent times, the plan to build the Pusaka Flag Park has been marked by a polemic because some traders refused to move.

"Why don't I invite new media friends this time? Because first I invited the chairman of the DPRD, I invited Mrs. Mega who likes plants, and I don't want this ground breaking event, because there are people who from a long time ago want to interfere," said Pramono.

In fact, Pramono emphasized that all traders in Barito Market had previously signed an agreement letter to be relocated by the DKI Provincial Government.

There was an allegation that the attitude of rejection of some traders was driven by certain parties. However, Pramono did not question and remained focused on development.

"I said we'll just finish it, because it's part of my responsibility to make Jakarta better, more beautiful, the park is wider," he explained.
