Pangdam Udayana Asks For Investigation Of The Death Of Prada Lucky Transparan
DENPASAR - Pangdam IX/Udayana Major General TNI Piek Budyakto asked for the process of investigating the death of Prada Lucky Chepril Saputra Namo who served in the Development Territorial Battalion 834 Waka Nga Mere, Nagekeo, NTT to be carried out in a transparent and professional manner.
This was conveyed by Deputy Head of Pendam IX/Udayana Lt. Col. Inf. Amir Syarifudin when asked for information regarding the investigation into the case of the death of Prada Lucky who was allegedly abused.
Pangdam felt disappointed after hearing the news of Prada Lucky's death.
"Pangdam was disappointed with this incident, he was angry so he immediately moved quickly for the investigation, he was asked to respond immediately so that this incident would get the right answer," said Amir, Friday, August 8.
Amir explained that his party had not been able to conclude that the cause of Prada Lucky's death was allegedly due to being tortured/dianiaya or other reasons considering that the investigation team from the Kupang Military Police Sub Detachment (Sudenpom) and Intelligence were still investigating.
"We can't answer if this is persecution or not, the reason is because of that, all of that could happen, it could be because of persecution, it could be because he was other injured," he said.
Regarding the witnesses who will be applied to soldiers who are proven to be involved in the case of Prada Lucky's death, the judge will determine during the trial.
He hopes that the humanist approach without violence will increase the human resources of TNI soldiers.
Reflecting on this incident, his party will carry out strict supervision of the implementation of tasks in each unit.
"We always carry out monitoring the emphasis that it is no longer allowed (violence) in this digital era, what needs to be now is to prioritize or improve the quality of human resources, we reduce what is called physical contact, we prioritize humanism," he concluded.
