List Of Indonesian Representatives At The 2025 World Championships After Alwi Joins

JAKARTA Indonesia has 12 representatives who are on the list for the 2025 Badminton World Championships (BWF World Champioships 2025) after the men's singles badminton player Alwi Farhan is confirmed to participate.

Alwi, who was previously at the top of the waiting list, will certainly qualify for this prestigious tournament after Viktor Axelsen withdrew because he still had to undergo recovery.

The former world number one said through social media that he still needed time to recover after undergoing surgery on the back of April 2025.

Axelsen's decision made Alwi Farhan entitled to replace his position to make his debut at the World Championships. Alwi then received an invitation from the International Badminton Federation (BWF) on Friday, August 8, 2025.
