Bitcoin Breaks USD 117,000 After Trump Approves Crypto In Pension Funds
JAKARTA - The price of Bitcoin (BTC) has skyrocketed again in the last 24 hours, where Bitcoin rose 2.26% and is now at the level of 117,400 US dollars or around Rp. 1.91 billion.
BTC's current market dominance has reached 61%, while the total crypto market capitalization has also shot up 2.70% to 3.81 trillion US dollars or around Rp. 62,017 trillion (Rp. 62 quadrillion).
The increase came after the President of the United States, Donald Trump, signed an executive order allowing alternative assets such as crypto, property, and private equity to be included in the 401(k) pension program.
Based on the analysis of the Ajaib Panji Yudha Financial Expert, this policy is considered a historic step because it opens up crypto access to the US pension market which is worth more than 9 trillion US dollars (IDR 146,583 trillion or IDR 146.5 quadrillion).
Although its implementation is still awaiting regulatory adjustments from federal agencies such as the Department of Manpower, Panji said, many analysts see this policy as a major boost to digital asset adoption.
The move also demonstrates Trump's consistency in pushing for pro-crypto regulation, having previously passed a stablecoin law.

The order also follows a stablecoin law that Trump has previously passed, showing consistency in the direction of his government's pro-crypto policy, Panji said in a statement.
In the last 24 hours, several other crypto assets have also recorded a sharp rise. Arena Z (A2Z) jumped 95.02%, AS Roma Token (ASR) rose 61.30%, and Bio Protocol (BIO) rose 48.31%.
Panji projects that the price of Bitcoin today will move in the range of 116,000 - 123,000 US dollars (Rp1.88 - Rp2 billion), with market sentiment still positive.
