Ministry Of Energy And Mineral Resources Projects 700 Tons Of Coal Production By The End Of The Year

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) projects that coal production by the end of 2025 will reach more than 700 million tons.

This projection is in line with the production plan that has been set since the beginning of the year of 739.56 million tons by the end of 2025.

"700 something (production targets)," said Director General of Mineral and Coal (Minerba) Tri Winarno to the media crew quoted Friday, August 8.

As for August 8, 2025, coal production recorded at Mineral One Data Indonesia (MODI) reached 431.58 million tons or reached 58.36 percent.

With this achievement, Tri is optimistic that this target can be achieved by the end of 2025.

"If it's 700 (million tons), that's for sure," said Tri.

Sementara itu, realisasi ekspor batu bara hingga saat ini mencapai 221,58 juta ton dari total rencana ekspor sebesar 499,92 juta ton atau telah mencapai 44,32 persen.

Kemudian realisasi Domestic Market Obligation (DMO) tercatat sebesar 104,59 juta ton atau 43,64 persen dari target sebesar 239,64 juta ton.

Meanwhile, the realization of coal exports to date has reached 221.58 million tons of the total export plan of 499.92 million tons or has reached 44.32 percent.

Then the realization of the Domestic Market Obligation (DMO) was recorded at 104.59 million tons or 43.64 percent of the target of 239.64 million tons.
