InJourney Hospitality Collaborates With Indonesian Children's Cancer Foundation
PT Hotel Indonesia Natour (InJourney Hospitality), as the Development and Management Business Entity (BUPP) for the Sanur Special Economic Zone (KEK), has again shown its commitment to making a positive contribution to the operational area of the Sanur SEZ, or known as The Sanur.
SEZ Sanur is the first Special Economic Zone in Indonesia to focus on the health sector, and is being developed as an International Health & Wellness Destination. This 41.26 hectare area is designed with an integrated service concept (end-to-end journey) that integrates the health and tourism sectors in one leading destination.
As part of this effort, InJourney Hospitality collaborates with the Indonesian Children's Cancer Foundation (YKAI) to organize the 1 Breath Hope Yoga Charity activity, as a form of continuous commitment to the health and welfare of the community. This activity was carried out at The Meru Sanur, SEZ Sanur, Bali, and was attended by 14 children of cancer fighters along with their respective parents or companions.
This activity is the result of a synergy between InJourney Hospitality, the Indonesian Children's Cancer Foundation, and the B3 Playground, which aims to support the recovery process for children with cancer as a whole. In this series of activities, participants are invited to participate in wellness activities, including yoga, fun dance, entertainment activity, refreshing and experience eating at Arunika Restaurant as a form of soothing and fun activity.
Cancer treatment trips often provide great physical and emotional pressure, both for children and their companions. Therefore, a holistic approach is key in their recovery process.
Through this initiative, it is hoped that a holistic recovery approach can be created, touching on physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects. This activity is a medium of relaxation that helps reduce stress, improve sleep quality, improve mood, and support overall endurance. Every smile that radiates from children present is a symbol of hope and enthusiasm for all parties involved.
This program is also a tangible form of InJourney Hospitality's commitment to supporting humanitarian missions and strengthening the public health sector through the development of health & wellness tourism at the Sanur SEZ - an international destination that combines health and tourism services.
Christine Hutabarat, President Director of InJourney Hospitality said that this collaboration is a tangible manifestation of her party's commitment to have a positive impact on the community, especially children who are cancer fighters and their families.
"We believe that recovery is not only medical, but also requires emotional and spiritual support. Through this activity, we want to create a warm, hopeful, and meaningful space," Christine said in her statement, Thursday, August 7.
Mama Rehan, one of the parents of the activity participants, admitted that seeing the child smile and laugh out loud today is a great gift.
"In the midst of a heavy treatment process, activities like this give us a new spirit. Thank you to all those who have made today so meaningful."
