Sony Launches New BRAVIA TV Row With Bigger Screen
JAKARTA Sony launched a new series of smart televisions for the BRAVIA line. There are three television models that the company launched, including BRAVIA 8 II, BRAVIA 5, and BRAVIA 2 II.
Through the launch of this latest television lineup, Sony wants to offer a much better viewing experience. The television is claimed to offer not only sharp and subtle image quality, but also stunning sound with a surround system.
BRAVIA 8 II offers a 65-inch display known as the 'Slim One Slate'. This design brings together the screen and bezels, combined with the latest generation QD-OLED panels. On this device, Sony offers an XR processor with a special system.
"Because this is QD-OLED, this (television) already uses a quantum dot. So, the color accuracy shown is much richer," said Ali Ichsan, Product Marketing Head Home Entertainment Category Sony, at the launch event on Thursday, August 7.
Thanks to the technology Sony developed, BRAVIA 8 II can recognize various scenes that are shown with Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. That way, the visuals displayed are much more realistic than smart television in general.
This device also uses the Acoustic Surface Audio+ technology which makes the entire screen a source of sound. During the experience session, VOI can distinguish the direction of sound coming easily. This technology encourages a 360-degree audio experience.
Meanwhile, BRAVIA 5 presents a variety of advanced features taken from last year's premium model, but at a more affordable cost. This device is equipped with XR Backlight Master Drive technology that can control LED intelligently.
This television has local dimming with contrasting precision as well as the Clear Image feature that can improve content with an approaching scale of 4K. This technology is also able to reduce noise as long as films or videos are shown.
