Fadia Ready To Reunite With Apriyani Rahayu
JAKARTA Badminton player specialist Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti is ready to start everything from scratch with her old partner Apriyani Rahayu.
The two names were reunited by women's doubles coach Karel Mainaky earlier this month. They are part of the reshuffle program with three other main pairs of PBSI Pelatnas.
Fadia said that the reunion with Apri was purely the coach's decision to find the best composition in the women's doubles sector so that Indonesia could compete at the elite level.
"We were invited to chat one by one by the coach. We just followed the best from the coach because he knew in the future for us, who better with whom," said Fadia.

The four women's doubles that PBSI overhauled were Febriana Dwi Puji Kusuma/Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi, Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti/Lanny Tria Mayasari, Rachel Alllessya Rose/Meilysa Trias Puspitasari, and Apriyani Rahayu/Febi Setianingrum.
Their latest compositions are Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti, Amalia Cahaya Pratiwi/Lanny Tria Mayasari, Rachel Alllessya Rose/Febi Setianingrum, and Febriana Dwi Puji Kusuma/Meilysa Trias Puspitasari.
The four pairs will be registered in two tournaments next month, namely the Hong Kong Open Super 500 (9-14 September 2025) and the China Masters Super 750 (16-21 September 2025).
Fadia said that it was not a problem even though he and Apri had to play in lower-level Super 100 or 300 BWF tournaments because in Hong Kong they started from the qualifying stage.
"So maybe in China we don't necessarily enter, so maybe we can play at 100. That might be the first challenge, starting from zero we are ready or not," said Fadia.
Apri/Fadia first made their debut at the 2021 SEA Games which was postponed for a year in Vietnam. At that time they immediately won a gold medal from the biennial event.
Apri/Fadia also won their Malaysia Open 2022 title, which was their first title at the first BWF World Tour. In addition, they also collected Singapore Open in the same year.
