More Than 30 Thousand Mitsubishi L300 Units Affected By Recalls In Indonesia, Here's Biang Keladinya
JAKARTA - PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) announced the inspection campaign program for the Mitsubishi L300 model or recall. This program is a tangible manifestation of Mitsubishi Motors' commitment to accompany consumer travel throughout the vehicle ownership process including full-time sales services.
The examination carried out is also a form of compliance with the provisions stipulated in the applicable laws and regulations, especially the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation Number PM 33 of 2018 concerning motor vehicle type testing.

Damage was triggered by two things, namely, inadequate waterproof performance in the connector section at the engine control facility, and injector damage caused by fuel contamination and the use of imitation or non-genuine fuel filters by vehicle owners.
Procedures for the Technical Implementation of Inspection Campaigns In this inspection campaign, MMKSI through the official Mitsubishi Motors dealer in Indonesia conducts inspections / inspections of vehicle units involved. If necessary, technicians will make repairs and replacement of potentially problematic components and can disrupt consumer comfort, such as repair of connectors (Harness), or replacement of Harness, Common Rail, and Pipe.
In addition, the official Mitsubishi Motors dealer technician will also replace the Fuel Filter item for free. As a form of appreciation for Mitsubishi L300 consumers involved, and participating in this inspection campaign, MMKSI will provide 10 free original filter fuels, which will be distributed according to a periodic maintenance schedule.
Improved Mitsubishi L300 Production Quality As a further step so that consumers do not experience this in units produced after the year the vehicles are involved, MMKSI and MMKI (PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Indonesia, Mitsubishi Motors assembly plant in Indonesia) have coordinated and made improvements in terms of production by replacing engine control cables with types that have a higher level of water resistance, which has been implemented since February 1, 2024.
