BI Officially Holds Indonesian Creative Works 2025, Encourages MSMEs As National Economic Motors
JAKARTA - Bank Indonesia (BI) held the 2025 Indonesian Creative Works (KKI) at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC) from August 7, 2025 to August 10, 2025 in supporting the national economy.
This event carries the theme "Innovation and Synergy: The Key To Strengthening The Role Of MSMEs As A Sustainable Economic Mobilization Motor".
In addition, this event also presents exhibitions for fostered MSMEs, business matching exports and financing, seminars, talk shows, to digital transformation and integrated green transitions.
Bank Indonesia Governor Perry Warjiyo said that the KKI event was a concrete step to encourage Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to advance to class through innovation, digitization, and cross-sectoral synergy.
MSMEs are an important pillar in supporting the economy towards advanced Indonesia. There are around 65 million MSMEs throughout Indonesia that support the economy, have the durability to the crisis, and most of them are driven by women. For this reason, efforts to strengthen the role of MSMEs as motors driving the national economy need to continue," he said in his statement, Thursday, August 7.
Perry conveyed that Bank Indonesia's commitment to develop MSMEs in an end-to-end manner through three main pillars, namely strengthening competitiveness, increasing access to finance, as well as financial literacy and inclusion.
According to him, strengthening competitiveness is focused on leading sectors such as wastra, crafts, coffee, and local culinary.
He added that financial access was encouraged through the Business Matching Digital platform which brings together MSMEs with financing institutions efficiently and deplete.

Perry juga mengapresiasi Kementerian/Lembaga dan para anggota parlemen yang terus bersinergi melalui berbagai kreasi pengembangan UMKM Indonesia.
“Dengan sinergi kita mampu mengembangkan UMKM dalam kreasi dan menciptakan future leaders," tuturnya.

Meanwhile, Perry said, financial literacy is strengthened through the preparation of educational and training modules throughout Indonesia.
Perry also appreciated the Ministries/Institutions and members of parliament who continued to synergize through various creations of the development of Indonesian MSMEs.
"With synergy, we are able to develop MSMEs in creation and create future leaders," he said.
