SAE Indonesia Presents 'The Resonance', An Exhibition Of Student Final Works That Becomes The Spotlight Of The Creative Industry

JAKARTA - SAE Indonesia, a global higher education institution in the creative media sector, has again presented an annual exhibition entitled The Resonance'. This exhibition features the final work of students of the Applied Art Bachelors program, from the concentration of Film Production, Audio Production, 3D Animation & Visual Effects, and Creative & Entertainment Business studies.

This year, The Resonance will be held on August 6'10, 2025 at the SAE Indonesia Campus, Pejaten, South Jakarta. A total of 42 students will present 27 main works, ranging from animation, short films, immersive audio installations, to entertainment business strategies. Carrying the theme 'Where stories, visuals, and sounds resonate shaping culture and creating impact', this exhibition reflects how students' ideas begin to echo outside the lecture hall and enter a wider industry, community, and culture.

The Resonance is not just a final exhibition, this is a declaration of readiness from our students to enter the professional world," said Emenk, Coordinator of Exhibition. Each work is the result of students' direct involvement with the context of real industry, and is a reflection of their ability to create impacts.

As an illustration, here are some of the flagship projects of the study program compiled by SAE Indonesia:

- Film Production: Audra Anandira Lasso (wife of musician Ari Lasso), together with Javier Fadiga and Syarief Fathan, created an installation titled Star Fajar a work that combines the underwater atmosphere with visual narration elements in the form of a thematic exhibition.

- 3D Animation & Visual Effects: Daffa Muhammad Collaboration, Sahbila El Fate, and Hosea gave birth to a 3D animated film entitled Derma Para Wali, which tells a story of a local nuance with a digital wood puppet style, unifying the value of tradition with a modern visual approach.

- Audio Production: I Wayan Eka Wiguna and Patrick Ruiz Benkie presents a work entitled 360 Ambisonic in Balinese Contemporary Performance, which recorded contemporary Balinese art performances using ambisonic audio technology and 360 degree video. This project creates an immersive experience that brings together technological innovations with local cultural heritage.

- Creative & Entertainment Business: Brigitte Janice founded Jagat, a creative agency that focuses on developing strategies and content production for musical theaters. This project shows a deep understanding of the management of the creative vision-based entertainment industry.

During the five days of implementation, visitors will be presented with various series of activities such as screenings of films and animations, original sound installations, creative workshops, and meet & greet with industry practitioners where creators can tell the process behind their work directly. This year, the series of events also includes an educational visit program for high school students to provide an overview of the creative industry and immersive learning approaches at SAE.
