Isak Expelled From Newcastle, Asked To Train Alone Amid Rumors Of Transfer
JAKARTA - Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak was asked to report on training after the rest of the squad left on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, due to uncertainty about his future still continuing.
The 25-year-old Swedish National Team (Timnas) did not participate in their pre-season trips to Singapore and South Korea.
He is suspected of being due to a minor thigh injury. However, there was also news of Isak's absence in pre-season regarding the transfer rumors.
As it is known, Liverpool is the club that is most actively hunting for Isak. They made an offer of 110 million pounds (Rp 2.3 trillion) for the striker and stated that they were still interested in getting his services.

He then flew to Spain to train at his former club, Real Sociedad, and returned to Tynedey on the weekend - not long before head coach Eddie Howe and his squad landed back from Seoul and were given a two-day holiday.
The players returned to training ground on Wednesday morning and their families were invited to join after training.
Meanwhile, ESPN reported last week that Newcastle's rejection of Liverpool's offer made the Merseyside club feel that making a second offer at the moment would be in vain.
However, this attitude could change if Newcastle finds a suitable replacement in the transfer market and shows a willingness to release Isak this summer.
So far, RB Leipzig has received official offers from Manchester United and Newcastle for striker Benjamin Sesko, with both options being reviewed by the Bundesliga club.
Newcastle made an initial offer, valued at around 65.4 million pounds with an additional potential of 4.3 million pounds, which was rejected last week.
They have then made a better offer of 69.7 million additional plus for the Slovenian national team player.
However, Manchester United are on the verge of victory in the hunt for Sesko's signature.
World football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, said Sesko and the Red Devils had agreed to verbal requirements.
Sesko's future also has a big impact on where their star striker, Alexander Isak, will play the 2025/2026 season.
