Enlivening The 80th Anniversary Of The Republic Of Indonesia, This Is A Safe Distance To Install Flags And Umbul-Umbul From Electric Cables According To PLN
JAKARTA - Ahead of the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, PLN of the Greater Jakarta Distribution Main Unit (UID) appealed to residents to maintain a safe distance when installing flags and tubers from power lines. This appeal is to prevent potential short circuits to electric shocks that can endanger safety.
"In pairs of independence attributes at least three meters from the power grid. This is a small step that can prevent big risks," said General Manager of PLN UID Jakarta Raya, Moch. Andy Adhaminordin or Andy Adcha in a written statement received, Wednesday, August 6.
PLN also held field patrols and active socialization to residents. They target dense areas and attribute installation locations that have the potential to intersect directly with electric cables.
Andy emphasized the importance of the active role of the community. If you look at the flag or umbul-bulge too close to the power cable, residents are asked to immediately report via the PLN Mobile application or Contact Center 123.
