The Price Of Biodiesel In August 2025 Rose To IDR 13,527 Per Liter

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) through the Directorate General of New, Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (Ditjen EBTKE) has set the price of the Nabati Fuel Index (BBN) type Biodiesel for August 2025 at IDR 13,527 per liter.

This figure was recorded to have increased compared to the previous month which was priced at IDR 12,874 per liter.

The pricing decision is effective as of August, in accordance with the letter from the Director-General of EBTKE number B-2017/EK.05/DJE.B/2025 which was signed on July 30, 2025.

The HIP amount of Biodiesel type BBN is determined based on the provisions of the First Diktum of the Ministerial Decree (Kepmen) of Energy and Mineral Resources Number 3.K/EK.05/DJE/2024 concerning the Price of the Biodiesel type BBN Market Index which is mixed into Solar Oil Fuel and the amount of transportation costs based on the provisions of attachment I of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Number 153.K/EK.05/DJE/2024.

In more detail, the calculation of the price of HIP BBN Biodiesel obtained from the formula, HIP = (CPO KPB Average + 85 US dollars / tons) x 870 kg / m3 + Ongkos Transport.

With an average CPO price of 25 June - 24 July 2025 period of IDR 14,166 per kg.

Sedangkan 85 dolar AS per MT adalah nilai konversi bahan baku menjadi biodiesel, dan angka 870 kg/m3 merupakan faktor satuan dari kg ke L.

Sementara nilai kurs menggunakan rata-rata kurs tengah Bank Indonesia dengan periode kurs 25 Juni-24 Juli 2025 sebesar Rp16.263.

Meanwhile, 85 US dollars per MT is the value of conversion of raw materials into biodiesel, and 870 kg/m3 is a unit factor from kg to L.

Meanwhile, the exchange rate uses the Bank Indonesia middle rate average with an exchange rate period of June 25 to July 24, 2025, amounting to IDR 16,263.
