YOGYAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto issued Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 81 of 2025 which regulates the provision of Special Allowances to Specialist Doctors, Subspecialist Doctors, Specialist Dents, and Subspecialist Dents who work in disadvantaged, bordering and archipelago areas (DTPK).

In the first phase, special allowances of Rp. 30,012,000 per month will be given to the 1,100 medical personnel, who work at the DTPK, especially in local government-owned health facilities. "This policy is a form of appreciation and attention from the state to doctors who sincerely serve in areas with limited access," said the Head of the Presidential Communication Office, Hasan Nasbi, on Monday night, August 4.
