Son Becomes Slander Victim, Sarwendah Supports Police Report Ruben Onsu

JAKARTA - Sarwendah finally opened her voice regarding the decisive steps taken by her ex-husband, Ruben Onsu, in dealing with bullying and slander on social media against his daughter, Thalia Putri Onsu.

He confidently stated that Ruben Onsu had handled this problem in the same way as when he defended Betrand Peto (Onyo) from the haters' attacks.

The mother of three children seems very confident that the perpetrators will soon be caught, referring to the legal action that Ruben has taken.

"You can watch it on my podcast too, so you don't cut it, so hopefully I'm sure my father will do the same thing he did when he was bullied," said Sarwendah in the Central Jakarta area, Tuesday, August 5.

In dealing with this problem, Sarwendah and Ruben have divided their tasks very clearly.

While Ruben focused on the legal process, Sarwendah took an important role in maintaining the mental health of their children from negative impacts of bullying.

"So everything was caught and let the father, so we divide the task, I take care of the children mentally, and the father has also made a report," he continued.

With the ongoing legal process, Sarwendah can only hope that all the efforts they have made can run smoothly and produce the expected results.

"And hopefully everything goes well," said Sarwendah.

Previously, presenter Ruben Onsu finally took firm legal steps against social media accounts that had spread slander and bullied his family.

Through his attorney, Minola Sebayang, Ruben officially reported the owner of Vina Run's account to Polda Metro Jaya with multiple articles that carries a penalty of up to 8 years in prison.

Minola Sebayang confirmed that the report had been received and would soon be processed by the police.

"Today our report has been received. The process must go through the stage of the case title first whether there is sufficient evidence and it turns out that everything we are doing today can be accepted. It was given a recommendation by the ditsiber and then we can make a report today," said Minola Sebayang at Polda Metro Jaya, Thursday, July 31.

This report was made after the account continuously posted false information containing elements of slander and bullying of minors.

"So earlier I accompanied Ruben Onsu to report the owner of Vina Run's account. We have known for the past few days that it has been posting, transmitting information that is not true, contains elements of defamation, slander, lies, bullying to minors," he continued.
