KPK Ensures Harun Masiku Passport Is Revoked, Search Still Continues
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) revealed that the passport belonging to the suspect Harun Masiku, who is currently on the wanted list or DPO, has been revoked by the government.
"Of course, yes, to prevent the person concerned. For example, being in the country, not being able to get out, or the location abroad is still being sought," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo at the KPK's Red and White House, Jakarta, Tuesday (5/8) night.
However, Budi said he would confirm the time for the revocation of the passport, namely along with the entry of Harun Masiku to the DPO or not.
"We will check the details later because of course to find DPO there is a need, so that the person concerned can also be easier to search for," he said.
He said the KPK was still looking for Harun Masiku. "KPK also involves other law enforcement officers, involving other institutions that have instruments to support the search for Harun Masiku's DPO," he said.
The KPK on January 9, 2020 announced four suspects in the alleged case of interim replacement management (PAW) for candidates for members of the DPR RI for the 2019-2024 period.
The four suspects are Harun Masiku and Saeful Bahri as bribes, as well as former member of the Indonesian KPU Wahyu Setiawan and member of the Indonesian General Elections Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) Agustiani Tio Fridelina.
In the development of this case, Harun Masiku has always been absent from the summons of KPK investigators until he is included in the wanted list (DPO) since January 17, 2020.
