Mantan Kadis Kupang Jadi Tersangka Korupsi Dana BOK Rp598 Juta
KUPANG - Kupang District Attorney named the former Head of the Kupang District Health Office Robert Amaheka as a suspect in the alleged corruption case of health operational assistance funds (BOK) for health centers throughout Kupang Regency.
Head of the Information and Law Section of the NTT Police, AA Raka Putra Dharmana, told reporters that the alleged corruption occurred in the 2021 to 2022 fiscal years.
"The determination of the suspect is carried out based on the Suspect Determination Letter Number: PRIN-383/N.3.25/Fd.1/08/2025," said Raka, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, August 6.
The BOK fund is operational assistance from the central government through the APBN to support the operation of health services at the Puskesmas level.
These funds are used for activities such as the implementation of the Healthy Life Community Movement (GERMAS), early detection and disease prevention, fulfillment of contract health workers as well as other promotive and preventive activities in the work area of the Puskesmas.
Raka said the suspect, who is currently the Acting Head of the Kupang Regency Industry and Trade and Cooperative Office, is suspected of cutting BOK funds at each level of disbursement, with a total of Rp598.8 million received.
This, he said, was in accordance with the information from the Heads of Health Centers in Kupang Regency who were questioned.
Raka added that the cuts made by the heads of the puskesmas were carried out at the pressure and threat of mutation or non-job from the suspect if they did not comply with the request.
Several Heads of Puskesmas were even transferred unilaterally, until finally the Regional Secretary of Kupang Regency issued a letter of warning for the action.
Apart from being named a suspect, Robert Amaheka was also immediately detained in accordance with the Detention Order Number: PRIN-384/N.3.25/Fd.1/08/2025
Detention starts from Tuesday (5/8) 2025 to August 24, 2025, at the Class IIB Kupang Detention Center.
The suspect is suspected of violating Article Primair: Article 12f jo.
