Fadilah said the two gold medals could not be separated from Vanda/Imelda's persistence, who twice outperformed Thailand's deputy host, Aitsaraphon Khwaengmueang/Thanaya Jaichuang.

He explained that as new athletes, Vanza and Zulaika, must participate in international championships included in the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) official calendar or the International Bicycle Racing Federation with the aim of classification.

"This achievement in Thailand is the basis for entering the quota for championships with a higher grade. The higher the grade that is followed, the points for athletes who are champions will also be higher," he said.
