Cafe Doesn't Want To Play Indonesian Songs, Government Will Intervene To Find Solutions

JAKARTA - Recently, there was a fear that cafes or restaurants would not play Indonesian songs for fear of paying royalties.

This stems from the determination of the suspect Director of PT. Mitra Bali Sukses (Mie Gacoan) in the copyright infringement case.

Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi told reporters at the Merdeka Palace Complex, Jakarta, Tuesday, August 5, that the government would intervene to find the best solution related to the polemic.
