Build 1,542 MBG Kitchens Until The End Of 2025, BGN Disburses IDR 6 Trillion
JAKARTA - The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) targets the construction of 1,542 Free Nutrition Food kitchens (MBG) or also known as the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) until the end of 2025.
Head of BGN Dadan Hindayana said the SPPG construction would be fully supported by the state budget. He said his party had prepared a budget of IDR 6 trillion for the development.
"The construction of 1.542 SPPG is a total of IDR 6 trillion for the building, yes, not the equipment," Dadan said in the signing of the Joint MoU with the Ministry of Public Works in Jakarta, Tuesday, August 5.
Dadan said that the construction of the SPPG was outside of what BGN partners had built.
Especially those built through the APBN, said Dadan, will later also be collaborated with several community groups or regional leaders who will then cover 47 volunteers in each SPPG.
"So, it's almost the same as the SPPG from partners. The only difference is that our partners pay incentives, while for those built with the APBN, we will give management fees," he said.

Furthermore, Dadan said, until Tuesday, August 5, the total SPPG that was built reached 3,233 using funds from non-APBN.
According to Dadan, the SPPG has served 8.2 million beneficiaries. Meanwhile, his party targets that this week the total beneficiaries can reach 12 million people.
"This covers 4,000 SPPGs and it's purely a partnership that investors build, then cooperates with BGN," he explained.
