This Is The Reason Pramono Appointed The Former Acting Governor Of DKI To Be A Commut Food Station After The Oplosan Rice Case
JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung revealed the reason he appointed former Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Teguh Setyabudi to be the President Commissioner (Komut) of PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya.
According to Pramono, Teguh has the capability to oversee the running of DKI's regional-owned enterprises (BUMD) in the field of food supply.
"I and Bang Doel (Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Rano Karno) decide why Pak Teguh really needs people with credibility and also a qualified track record," said Pramono at Taman Lapangan Banteng, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, August 5.
Thus, Pramono believes that Teguh is able to fix the governance of the Food Station company which was recently dragged into a legal case.
Where, the President Director and Director of Operations and Business Food Station are named as suspects in cases of rice circulation that do not comply with quality standards or adulterated rice.
"However, the issue of the Tjipinang Food Station is beyond my expectations, Mr. Deputy Governor. Thus, we take any steps that law enforcement becomes the main thing.
"And secondly, improvements will be made immediately at the food station itself. We have made improvements, including appointing the Acting President Director and Acting Director of Operations," explained Pramono.
For information, Teguh once led Jakarta from October 2024 to February 2025 or before Pramono served as the definitive Governor of DKI.
Teguh also became Acting Governor of Southeast Sulawesi in February-September 2018 and a Temporary Official of the Governor of North Kalimantan in September-December 2020.
The bureaucrat with the title of Doctorate of Government Science was also the Director General of Regional Development of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri).
Currently, Teguh is also still serving as Director General of Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
