Acting Debut, DJ Brave Gets Full Support From Erika Carlina

JAKARTA - DJ Brave made a surprising confession about his debut in the world of film through the film Should be Horror directed by his best friend, Reza Oktovian alias Reza Arap.

He publicly admitted that he felt trapped when he was first offered a role, considering that he and his friends involved in the project had absolutely no background in acting.

This feeling arises because he feels he doesn't have the expertise he needs to act in front of the camera.

"Initially, I felt trapped because to be honest, everything here has never played in films, then there are no skills at all, and everything is new," said DJ Brave in the Tangerang area, Monday, August 4.

He also shared his doubts when he was first invited. However, thanks to the support from the team behind the scenes, he finally felt confident that he could give his best.

"So, at first I felt I could or not, because first I was invited, 'I'm DJ, you know, I was told to play a movie?' Come on, sure can if you study and be guided by great people behind the scenes, it turns out you can, hopefully, hopefully, I can give the best in this film," he continued.

Brave even thought that the offer to play in the big screen film was just a joke.

"Yes, at first I thought joking because, 'Guys, there are good news, we got the film', I thought, what film, cinema. Okay. No one expected to continue to be really surprised and it turned out not to be that depressed, it turned out to be excited when doing fun, fun, because with friends all of them are also new," said DJ Brave.

This doubt then turned into motivation. Being among friends who are also acting for the first time creates a healthy competition to show each other the best abilities.

"So, now being motivated like a rival, let's get better between all of them. So, everyone is competing to be the best in acting," he continued.

In the middle of the process, Brave claimed to have the full support of her lover, Erika Carlina. Erika's experience in the film world is a valuable provision for her.

"(Erika Carlina) Support, really support. What is certain is that he will be the right sharing friend because he is also struggling in the film world, right, then there are a lot of 'you'll be like this later, you'll be like this later', so you learn a lot from him too," said DJ Brave.
