Not Only 5 Cars, The AGO Also Confiscated Rupiah To Riza Chalid's Valas
The Attorney General's Office (AGO) did not only confiscate five cars belonging to Riza Chalid in handling cases of alleged corruption in crude oil management and refinery products at PT Pertamina Persero Sub Holding-KKKS for the period 2018-2023. Investigators also confiscated cash in rupiah denominations and foreign currencies.
"Yes, there is, besides this there is also," said Head of the AGO, Anang Supriatna, to reporters, Tuesday, August 5.
Accompanying the nominal amount of money confiscated, the Head of Sub-Directorate for Corruption Investigation and the AGO's TPPU, Yadyn said he could not confirm the amount. Because, it is still in the process of being counted.
"Untuk terkait dengan nominal nilai jumlah. Itu kita dapat sejumlah uang baik dalam bentuk dolar maupun juga dalam bentuk rupiah. Dan mata uang asing lainnya," sebut Yadyn.
"Regarding the nominal amount of money, we are still coordinating with the bank for the calculation value," he continued.
So far, it is only stated that the confiscation of evidence suspected of being the result of a criminal act of corruption has been carried out in three locations, namely in the Depok and South Jakarta areas.
"So we do this in three places. First in Depok, the second in Pondok Indah. Then the third in Tegalaparang, Mampang area," said Yadyn.
Previously, it was reported that investigators confiscated five luxury cars belonging to Riza Chalid which were carried out on Monday, August 5.
"The confiscation was obtained, there are five vehicles in front, this is the Toyota Alphard, there is the Mini Cooper, there are three Mercy sedans," Anang told reporters, Tuesday, August 5.
