The National Police Also Denied That There Was A Search At The Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah House

The National Police also denied the news of the police's search attempt at the residence of the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Adriansyah.

It is known, the news said that the Polda Metro Jaya conducted a search at the Jampidsus house located on Jalan Jl Radio I, Kramat Pela, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. However, it failed because it was driven by a number of TNI who were on guard.

"I don't think there is (an attempt to search Jampidsus' house)," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, to reporters, Tuesday, August 5.

Nevertheless, Trunoyudo stated that the institution authorized to answer the actual news was the Attorney General's Office (AGO).

"Actually, it has been conveyed, the question is that the realm to the kapuspenkum has been answered, no, so, in this case, the Police are the same (disputing)," he said.

It is known that the Adhyaksa Corps has also denied the news of the search through the Head of the AGO, Anang Supriatna.

"Until now there is none. Nothing," said Anang.

Regarding the deployment of TNI personnel at Jampidsus' house, Anang confirmed it. But it is not related to the search. The deployment is said to have been carried out for a long time, especially since the MoU between the TNI Commander and the Attorney General.

The deployment of TNI personnel is said to be common. This is because Jampidsus handled several corruption cases.

"Yes, it just so happens that Mr. Febrie is the Deputy Attorney General who specializes in handling corruption cases. Yes, you know, definitely security, from the TNI," said Anang.
