Two Honda Cars, Namely STEP WGN E: HEV And Super EV Concept Achieve Favorite Awards At GIIAS 2025

JAKARTA Honda stole the spotlight again at the 2025 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) through two flagship models. Honda STEP WGN e: HEV was successfully named the favorite MPV of journalists, while the Honda Super EV Concept was chosen as the consumer version of the favorite concept car.

Sales & Marketing and After Sales Director of PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) Yusak Billy, expressed his gratitude for the great appreciation from the media and visitors for Honda products at the largest automotive exhibition in Indonesia.

"This award is an encouragement for us to continue to present products relevant to people's needs and lifestyles," he said in a statement to the media, Tuesday, July 5.

He also added that the two models that received the award are expected to inspire consumers, as well as be part of a step towards a more comfortable, environmentally friendly, and enjoyable future mobility.

Honda STEP WGN e:HEV itself comes as the newest premium MPV that carries a super-wide and flexible cabin, ideal for a modern family. Equipped with Honda SENSING advanced safety technology and Honda-type efficient hybrid systems, this car still offers powerful performance with a pleasant driving experience.

Since its launch at GIIAS 2025, STEP WGN e: HEV has immediately received a warm welcome with orders of more than 200 units throughout Indonesia. The first handover was made on August 2, marking the start of the national distribution which will take place throughout this month.

On the other hand, Honda also introduced the Super EV Concept, a futuristic electric concept car that was first introduced in the Asia Oceania region via GIIAS. With the aerodynamic design and compact dimension, the Super EV Concept appears as a picture of a future electric car that is agile, efficient, and remains fun to drive a character that is closely attached to each Honda vehicle.
