Bareskrim Polri Usut Tambang Ilegal Pasir Zirkon Di Kalimantan Tengah
The Directorate of Certain Crimes (Dittipidter) of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police revealed that it was investigating a case of suspected non-metal mineral mining, namely Zirkon sand, in Central Kalimantan (Kalteng).
Dirtipidter Bareskrim Polri Brigadier General Pol. Nunung Syaifuddin said that the reported party in this case was a high-ranking official in a private company called PT Karya Res Lisbeth Mineral.
"There is currently one person reported on behalf of Marcel Sunyoto, Director of PT Karya Res Lisbeth Mineral," Nunung said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, August 4.
Regarding the beginning of the disclosure to the details of this case, Nunung did not reveal it.
However, investigators are currently coordinating with experts and conducting in-depth investigations.
"This week the title of determination of the suspect," he added.
The articles used in this case are Articles 158 and 161 of Law Number 3 of 2020 concerning Amendments to Law Number 4 of 2009 concerning Mineral and Coal Mining.

The threat of the second article is imprisonment for a maximum of 5 years and a maximum fine of Rp. 100 billion.
