Former Japanese National Team Player Leading Early Childhood Football Clinic Coaching
JAKARTA MilkLife Soccer Challenge invites former Japanese Women's National Team (Timnas) player, Mana Iwabuchi, to provide training to young Indonesian women's soccer talents.
The training in question is titled Coaching Clinic with Mana Iwabuchi. The activity was attended by more than 100 participants from Jakarta and Tangerang and took place at Pancoran Soccer Field, Jakarta, on Sunday, August 3, 2025.
The Director of MilkLife Soccer Challenge, Teddy Tjahjono, said that this event is one way to hone the talents and abilities of Indonesian women's footballers by presenting figures who can be role models and inspirational.
"This is an extraordinary opportunity for our women's soccer young talents to learn from the best, hone their skills, and love football even more," said Teddy.

This coaching clinic was held in collaboration with The Pokemon Company. Those who take part in the Coaching Clinic with Mana Iwabuchi are women's footballers with an age range of 8-12 years.
Previously, these participants had participated in the MilkLife Soccer Challenge championship in Jakarta and Tangerang. The details of participants in the Iwabuchi coaching clinic consist of 50 from Jakarta and 51 from Tangerang.
The coaching clinic with Iwabuchi started with ice breaking & warming up, then the session continued with a technical session, then there was also a mini tournament, and the series of activities closed with meet & greet.
"I am very happy to see my brothers and sisters excited to practice football with me. I am sure, if they continue to have the passion to train diligently, they will be able to achieve their dream of becoming great footballers and excel," said Iwabuchi.
Iwabuchi is a player full of experience competing at the Asian Cup, Olympic, and World Cup levels. He started his career from Japanese club Nippon TV Beleza, with an impressive record of 64 appearances and 30 goals.
After that, he headed over to various elite European clubs, such as 1899 Hoffenheim, Bayern Munich, Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur, to Arsenal.
The player who plays as a striker has also strengthened the Japanese Women's National Team in various age groups with a total score of 46 goals. She was also an important part of the success of the Japan National Team in winning the 2011 Women's World Cup.
