YouTube Tests Instagram Reels-like Collaboration Feature
JAKARTA - YouTube is starting to test a new collaboration feature, which allows creators to add collaborators directly to a video.
This feature allows videos made together to be recommended not only to main creators, but also to collaborators' audiences.
We started testing features that allow creators to add collaborators to a video, wrote the YouTube team in its announcement on Google's help page.
With this feature, the range of content is expected to expand significantly without the need to re-upload videos on each creator's channel.
"By adding collaborators, content can be recommended to audiences from each creator," added the search giant.
This trial is still limited and involves only a small group of selected creators. YouTube has not mentioned when this feature will be released widely.
However, they promised to provide further updates regarding its development plans in the future.
"This trial will start with a small group of creators first, but we will continue to provide updates regarding its expansion plans to more creators," the announcement concluded.
