Olivia Rodrigo Presents Weezer As The Main Performer Of Lollapalooza

JAKARTA - Olivia Rodrigo really knows how to have fun with the audience. Present as the main appearance at Lollapalooza, the 22-year-old pop star brought Weezer as a surprise guest.

The moment comes near the end of Rodrigo's appearance at a festival held in Chicago, USA on Friday, August 1 local time.

To thousands of fans, the vampir' singer said Weezer was the main performer at the music festival he attended before becoming famous as a singer.

Rivers Cuomo and other Weezer personnel went up on stage. They performed the two best songs 'Buddy Holly' and 'Say It Ain't So' with Rodrigo playing guitar whileharmonizing with Cuomo.

"It's really fun. I'm also curious about the story behind this incident," wrote one fan on X who commented on the video of Rodrigo and Weezer's appearance.

This is not the first surprise Rodrigo has brought to his fans. The Filipino-American singer often brought great musicians in his last few appearances.

When he was the main performer at the Governor's Ball, he invited David To perform the 1983 hit Talking Heads song, "Burning Down the House".

Then, he surprised fans at his main concert at BST Hyde Park by inviting Ed Sheeran to perform the song "The A Team".

Likewise when he was the main performer at the Glastonbury Festival. He presented The Cure vocalist, Robert Smith, on stage. They brought "Friday I'm In Love" and "Just Like Heaven".
