Landa Kiosk Laundry Fire In Matraman, 3 People Experience Burns
JAKARTA - Three people suffered burns during a fire at a laundry stall on Jalan Pisangan Baru Tengah, RT 02/14, Pisangan Baru Village, Matraman District, East Jakarta, which occurred on Saturday night, August 2, 2025.
Head of the Operations Section (Kasi Ops) of the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Abdul Wahid, said that the cause of the fire was suspected to be a gas leak from one of the clothing washing machines.
"The employee found out that one of the tubes had a leak, then the employee tried to remove the tube but it had not yet been released, it had happened," said Abdul Wahid when confirmed, Sunday, August 3, morning.
Currently, the three victims who suffered burns are still undergoing intensive treatment at the Matraman Hospital.
"The three victims suffered burns," he said.
The area of the object that caught fire was 6x9 meters in a 2-story building. As a result of the fire, the loss reached Rp. 189 million.
