Tom Holland Plans To Take Acting In Two Years, Why?

JAKARTA - Tom Holland is open to plans to take a hiatus from the world of acting for a moment. He considers this to be done to avoid burning out for too long.

"You're not always there in every movie and you can't do a good job if you're feeling burned out," Tom Holland told GQ British.

"What I learned is important to maintain boundaries, to be careful with excessive thinking," he said.

The 29-year-old actor took a break from acting and social media in 2022. He also stopped drinking alcohol in the same year.

A year later, he revealed that he was on hiatus after filming the series The Crowded Room which was deemed to be draining his physical condition.

"I'll probably take a break in 2027. We'll see," said Tom Holland again.

In a separate interview, Holland also revealed that he might stop acting when he was married and had children. He and Zendaya were found to be engaged last January.

When I have children, you won't see me in the movie. Golf and dad. And I will disappear from the face of the earth," said Tom Holland.

Tom Holland is shooting Christopher Nolan's latest film, The Odyssey with Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Charlize Theron, Lupita Nyong 'o, Robert Pattinson. He also has American Speed and Spider-Man: Brand New Day film projects.
