KAI Cancels Taksaka And Manahan Travel Tomorrow Impact Of Argo Bromo Drop
YOGYAKARTA - KAI Daop 6 Yogyakarta canceled the Yogyakarta-Gambir-Gambir and Manahan train trips for the Solo Balapan-Gambir connection on Saturday (2/8) due to the ongoing handling of the Argo Bromo Anggrek train which fell at Pegaden Baru Station, Subang, West Java.
The Public Relations Manager of Daop 6 Feni Novida Saragih ensures that the handling of passengers is in accordance with the provisions and considers the existing safety factors.
"KAI Daop 6 has also provided 'service recovery' to affected train passengers and we apologize profusely," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, August 1.
According to Feni, affected train passengers will get services according to applicable regulations, including refunds of 100 percent of duties outside of booking duties for canceled trains.
KAI, he said, has opened a "refund" service and rescheduled at all station counters and KAI contact centers.
Customer service officers are also alerted to provide the best assistance and solutions for passengers.
"KAI Daop 6 remains committed to prioritizing safety, comfort, and excellent service for all train service users, as well as actively coordinating operational recovery with related work units and operating areas," said Feni.
