Royal Safari Garden Invites Visitors To Care For Animals Through Animal Day Celebrations
BOGOR Royal Safari Garden affirms its commitment to animal education and preservation by holding a series of environmental-themed activities throughout July 2025. Located in the Puncak area, this family-friendly resort celebrates three important days in the world conservation calendar: Meerkat Day (July 3), World Snake Day (July 16), and International Tiger Day (July 29).
This interactive activity not only enlivens school holidays, but also aims to raise concern for nature and wildlife. The entire series of events took place in the Animal Show stage area, right in front of Bird Park, and started at 10.00 WIB after the animal show.
On Meerkat Day, children are invited to get to know social characters through prize quizzes and souvenirs in the form of skyrocketing-themed fans. World Snake Day presents direct education with tame snakes from Reptile Island, to remove negative stigma against snakes. Children who dare to interact immediately receive a snake-shaped cookies prize complete with a conservation message.
The highlight of the celebration closed on International Tiger Day with the distribution of tiger-themed donors and pins 'Save the Tiger' as a symbol of concern for the preservation of these predatory species that are increasingly threatened with extinction.
Royal Safari Garden Hotel Manager, Dody Saputro, said that although not all celebrated animals are available in resorts, education messages can still be conveyed through a mild approach and generate empathy.
A memorable holiday is a holiday that brings educational value. Through this Animal Day celebration, we want to invite families to learn together about the importance of protecting nature and wildlife. The hope is that children will grow up to be a generation that cares and is responsible for the environment," said Dody.
Through this initiative, Royal Safari Garden hopes to inspire guests, especially children and families, to be part of the environmental conservation movement from an early age.
