Human Rights Watch Calls The Murder Of Civilian Aid Seekers In Gaza A War Crime
JAKARTA - The international organization Human Rights Watch stated that the killing of aid seekers civilians in the Gaza Strip, Palestine by the Israeli military was a war crime.
In a report released Friday, the organization criticized Israel's flawed military aid distribution system in Gaza, describing it as turning into a place of bloodshed.
The report states that the alarming humanitarian condition in Gaza is a direct result of the use of hunger by Israel as a weapons of war against civilians, stressing that seizing important aid from Palestinians constitutes crimes against humanity and genocide, quoted from WAFA Aug. 1.
Human Rights Watch calls on the international community to pressure Israeli authorities to immediately stop using lethal force against civilians at aid distribution points.
The organization also urged the lifting of restrictions on humanitarian aid deliveries and demanded the United States and Israel to suspend a flawed aid distribution system.
In addition, they also called on the United Nations and other humanitarian groups to continue the distribution of aid across Gaza without restrictions.
