Liverpool's New Player Gets His Favorite Number Of Back
JAKARTA - Liverpool have confirmed that this summer's recruited player, Florian Wirtz, will wear the number 7 jersey for the coming season following Luis Diaz's departure to Bayern Munich.
Diaz joined the Bundesliga club with a transfer value of 65.5 million pounds earlier this week. Wirtz will inherit the Colombia player's jersey number after his 100 million move from Bayer Leverkusen in June 2025.
Milos Kerkez, who joined Anfield from Bournemouth earlier this summer, will wear the number 6 jersey.
While another new player, Jeremie Frimpong, has chosen the number 30 jersey, the jersey number she wore at the previous club, Leverkusen.

In the goalkeeper position, Giorgi Mamardashvili chose number 25, Freddie Woodman wore jersey 28, and Armin Pecsi wore number 41.
