Isuzu D-Max Modification Inspiration, Appears Brave With Overland Adventure Concept

TANGERANG - PT Isuzu Astra Motor Indonesia shows its innovation for various commercial vehicle segments, including the Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) segment, namely Isuzu D-Max.

Isuzu presents this car with a more dashing look with the concept of Adventure Overland. more dashing and ready to face various challenges during the trip, and ready for an unlimited adventure experience.

This model was born on the initiation of PT IAMI with PT Astra International Tbk - Isuzu Sales Operation (ISO), CV Delima Mandiri, and JP 4x4 Auto Sport by prioritizing the concept of overland and tough offroad adventure. This modification can be a reference from Isuzu in meeting the needs of active and dynamic lifestyles for offroad lovers throughout Indonesia.

PT IAMI's Division Head of Business Strategy, Rian Erlangga, said that through the modified concept, Isuzu wants to show that Isuzu D-max is not only tough as a commercial vehicle, but is also ready to answer the needs of an active lifestyle and full of challenges from off-road lovers in Indonesia.

"Hopefully the modified results of Isuzu D-Max can be an inspiration in presenting attractive, resilient, and reliable vehicles during the trip," he said, in a statement to the media, Friday, August 1.

In his appearance, Isuzu D-Max appeared with various additional components that strengthened off-road needs, ranging from rooftop tenants, awning, front and rear bumpers off-road to side step to make it easier to access up and down vehicles, as well as the use of MT tires from GT Radial which is ready to support performance in the heavy field.

Speaking of performance, this car is supported by RZ4E 1.9L Turbo Diesel engine which has been proven to offer an abundance of 150 PS with large torques of up to 350 Nm in the engine spin range of 1,800 - 2,600 rpm. Common Rail technology, which has long been developed by Isuzu, has proven to be able to increase fuel efficiency, without reducing the maximum energy that can be generated.

Passengers do not need to worry during the trip because Isuzu D-Max is also supported by modern safety features, ranging from Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent Control, Track Control, Electronic Stability Control, and the use of Rear Differential Lock which is able to regulate traction from both rear wheels.
