Hotel Raid, Dumai Police Seize 3.2 Kg Of Crystal Methamphetamine
The Narcotics and Drug Investigation Unit of the Dumai Resort Police, Riau confiscated 3.2 kilograms of methamphetamine in a raid at a local hotel.
The head of the Dumai Police Narcotics Unit, AKP Riza Effyandi, said that the disclosure of 3 kg of methamphetamine began with public information and was followed up with an investigation. Until finally the perpetrator was arrested in the early hours of Friday (1/8).
"We secured the suspect while sitting in the hotel lobby and admitted to staying in the hotel room," said AKP Riza, Friday, August 1 as reported by ANTARA.
After a search was carried out in the room, the team found a backpack containing a laptop containing three packs of Chinese tea in gold allegedly containing methamphetamine.
Dumai Police, he continued, also secured other evidence, such as two pieces of plastic, one phone and two black bags used by the suspect to store the illicit goods.
"We have secured all the evidence to the Dumai Police Headquarters for further investigation," said Riza.
