SEA V League 2025 Results: Indonesia Bend Vietnam 0-3
JAKARTA The Indonesian Women's Volleyball national team immediately suffered a crushing defeat against Vietnam in the first match of the 2025 SEA V League.
Megawati Hanggetri Pertiwi and colleagues were beaten with a landslide score of 0-3 (11-25, 11-25, and 22-25) in a match that took place at Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, on Friday, August 1, 2025.
In this clash, Megawati, who previously missed Indonesia at the AVC Nations Cup 2025, was also played by the Octavian tactician. The player from Jember gave the first point for Garuda Pertiwi.
In the first set, the match was quite tight in the first eight points. However, after equal standing 4-4, Vietnam went berserk by scoring seven points in a row and Indonesia's points were slow after.

Then in the second set, Megawati and her friends immediately lost two points. The negligence of the Indonesian players block made Vietnam able to easily maintain the advantage.
At the beginning of the third set, Indonesia rose and managed to score a two-point lead 4-2. However, Vietnam did not waver so that it easily equalized the score.
The pursuit of numbers then took place along the third set. Indonesia even had a 21-19 lead, but after that it was only able to add one point.
Indonesia will next face Thailand on Saturday, August 2, 2025. The first leg journey in the White Elephant Country will close with a duel against the Philippines on Sunday, August 3, 2025.
Megawati and colleagues are targeted to finish second in the final standings in the 2025 SEA V League. If that position is achieved then they will get tickets to appear in the AVC Nations Cup 2026.
