Anies Baswedan Publishes PPDB Online Rules, Here Are The Stages

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan issued Governor Regulation Number 32 of 2021 concerning Technical Instructions for Admission of New Students (PPDB) for the 2021-2022 Academic Year.

Head of the DKI Jakarta Education Agency, Nahdiana, said that the entire PPDB process was carried out online. The process starts from submitting an account, registering or selecting a school, to self-reporting for new students who pass the selection.

There are four PPDB selection paths for the 2021-2022 school year for kindergarten, elementary school, junior high school, senior high school, vocational school levels. The four pathways are the path of achievement, affirmation, zoning, and the path of changing the duties of parents and teachers' children.

"The DKI Jakarta Provincial Education Office held PPDB to realize the equal opportunity for all citizens from all backgrounds", Nahdiana said in her statement, Friday, May 7.

Nahdiana said PPDB with four pathways was expected to form public schools with a variety of students from various backgrounds.

"This policy is expected to establish equal access to quality education for Jakarta children from all backgrounds", said Nahdiana.

Here are the stages of PPDB online:

1. Elementary school

a. Affirmation Path:
