Anthony Joshua And Jake Paul Targeted Duel In 2026

JAKARTA The blockbuster fight that brought together Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua is targeted to be realized next year.

Jake Paul's manager, Nakisa Bidarian, said that he is currently holding talks to create the big duel, which is likely to be held at Wembley Stadium.

"I felt the fight was bound to happen. I saw it as Jake versus Joshua's fight, which had quite an impact on many things," he said.

Joshua has not fought since losing to Daniel Dubois in September 2024. He underwent elbow surgery in May 2025 and is targeting to return to the ring by the end of 2025.

On the other hand, Paul managed to beat veteran boxers Mike Tyson and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, who were held in November 2024 and June 2025, respectively.

After defeating Chavez unanimously last month, Paul bravely called for a fight against Joshua. He has also met with Turkey Alalshikh to try and make that fight happen.

Actually, there are a lot of concerns about Paul's plans to face world-leading heavyweight boxers like Joshua. However, Nakisa believes Paul can win.

"It's a fight Jake wants to do and it's a long-length discussion we've had. He's very confident in his position in his career and his chances of defeating Anthony Joshua," Nakisa said.

Paul, whose name has skyrocketed as YouTuber, has won 12 fights after starting his boxing career in 2020.

The 28-year-old suffered defeat to Tommy Fury in 2023, but then managed to beat former UFC stars Nate Diaz, Andre August, and Ryan Bourland, and Mike Perry.
