Police Arrest Indonesia-Dutch Network Ecstasy Dealers, Confiscated 14,521 Ecstasy Pills Worth IDR 15 Billion

North Jakarta Metro Police arrested a drug network of ecstasy pills from Europe that were to be marketed in a number of nightclubs in the Jakarta area.

A total of 4 suspects with the initials MF, FD, DK and R were arrested at different locations.

From these arrests, the total confiscated evidence was 14,521 ecstasy pills with a value of Rp. 15 billion.

North Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Erick Frendiz said the joint team found information on alleged drug trafficking plans for ecstasy pills.

On Sunday, June 22, 2025, the police took action against the contracting of the alleged perpetrator in the Lontar Dalam area, Koja, North Jakarta.

From the location, evidence was secured in the form of 9,460 ecstasy pills with pink words "Tesla".

However, when they were raided, the police did not find the suspect's whereabouts. Then the team conducted a re-investigation of the suspect Rl alias I.

Then on Thursday 26 June 2025 at around 11.00 WIB, the Indonesian perpetrator was successfully secured at the Pulogebang Terminal, East Jakarta.

The case was then developed and succeeded in arresting MF alias F and DK alias W on Jalan Kebun Diponogoro, Surabaya, East Java.

"From the two suspects found evidence of narcotics type methamphetamine. After interrogation of the two suspects, the two suspects still had about 5000 ecstasy pills stored at a friend's house with the initials FD alias F on Jalan Muteran Baru, North Kerembangan, Customs Cantian District, Surabaya City.

Furthermore, the police again arrested FD alias F and confiscated 21 plastic clips containing cream ecstasy pills with a total of 2,001 pills.

In addition, the police also confiscated 12 medium-vacuum plastics which contained yellow ecstasy pills bearing the "TMT" logo with a total of 3,058 pills.

"It is suspected that the narcotics can be seen from the type, shape and content of the MDMA purely. The network is an Indonesian-Dutch international network," he said.

Furthermore, the four suspects and evidence were secured and taken to the North Jakarta Metro Police. The four suspects were charged with Article 114 paragraphs 2 and 112 paragraph 2 of Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics with a minimum threat of 6 years and a maximum of 20 years in prison.
