Lee Jung Jae And Lim Ji Yeon Officially Join The Drama 'Nice To Not Meet You'

JAKARTA - Lee Jung Jae and Lim Ji Yeon are confirmed to join the latest drama titled Nice to Not Meet You. The two of them attended the script reading and announced a series of actors who would join this drama.

Nice to Not Meet You tells the story of an actor named Im Hyun Joon (Lee Jung Jae), a veteran actor who is known for his role as a detective. Hyun Joon really wants a role in the romance genre and starts to lose enthusiasm as an actor.

Im Hyun Joon meets Wi Jung Shin (Lim Ji Yeon), a political journalist who was transferred to the entertainment division after being dragged into a corruption scandal. He had to live his new life as an entertainment journalist.

Apart from the two, actor Kim Ji Hun will play Lee Jae Hyung, a former baseball athlete who now manages sports magazines. He changed after meeting Wi Jung Shin.

Then there is actress Seo Ji Hye who plays Yoon Hwa Young, head of the entertainment division in Lee Jae Hyung's magazine as well as her ex-lover.

Actress Oh Yeon Seo who was present at the script reading was confirmed to make a special appearance in this drama.

Several other players are Choi Gwi Hwa, Jeon Seong Woo, Kim Jae Chul, Na Young Hee, Jun Soo Kyung, Kim Hyun Jin, Jin Ho Eun, Kim Bup Rae, and Jo Hee Bong.

Nice to Not Meet You became Lee Jung Jae's first television drama after six years. His acting was last seen in the Squid Game series.

For Lim Ji Yeon, this drama is her latest project after The Tale of Lady Ok. He is also confirmed to star in Brave New World.

The drama Nice to Not Meet You will air in the second half of this year on Prime Video.
