Registration For The 2025 Mandalika MotoGP Volunteers Will Be Opened Soon, Save The Date

JAKARTA - Injourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) community to be directly involved in organizing the most prestigious motorcycle racing event in the world, Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2025 or MotoGP, by becoming a volleyball player or volunteer.

Volunteer registration will be carried out offline from 4 to 9 August 2025 at the Dining Hall of Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit, every day from 08.00 to 15.00 WITA.

Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2025 Chairman, Troy War Kuya said that this opportunity is open to anyone who wants to join various divisions, ranging from marshals, crowd control, security or stewards, waste management, cleaning service, media center, ticketing, hospitality to administration.

"This volunteer registration is free of charge," said Troy in an official statement, Friday, August 1.

Troy said the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2025 which will be held from 3 to 5 October 2025 at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit is not only a world-class motorcycle sporting event, but also a golden opportunity for the community to play a direct role in organizing international events, as well as to introduce the tourism potential of West Nusa Tenggara to the eyes of the world.

"Therefore, we invite the public to take advantage of this opportunity and become part of the history of organizing MotoGP in their own country for Indonesia worldwide," said Troy.

Furthermore, Troy said that the recruitment of volunteers is not just to meet the operational needs of events, but is also part of a strategy to build a local Human Resources (HR) ecosystem capable of working at the international level.

"We want to ensure that community involvement in this event not only helps smooth implementation, but is also a learning experience that forms world-class work standards. This is our investment in local human resources to be more competent and ready to compete in the tourism industry and global events," he said.

Terms And Provisions

Troy said that every volunteer candidate is required to bring a letter of good behavior and a certificate of health, clean appearance, fragrant and neat, and wearing a white shirt and black pants while on duty.

"For men, hair must be neatly arranged and not long, while women are expected to manage their hair properly. In addition, the use of closed shoes is a mandatory requirement," he said.

Those entering the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit area on motorbikes, continued Troy, must wear helmets according to driving safety regulations.

A number of divisions have additional requirements. For positions in hospitality, ticketing, and media centers, potential volunteers are expected to have English language skills," he said.

While qualification for the administrative position includes private laptop ownership and technical capabilities in using Microsoft Excel and Google Spreadsheet applications.
