"Jakarta averaged Rp1,590,000 which was issued for transportation. Surabaya turned out to be higher than Jakarta, Rp1,620,000," he said.
Risal said the high transportation costs incurred by Bekasi and Jakarta residents were due to additional costs for online motorcycle taxis (ojol) to public transportation such as trains, to vehicle parking costs.
"The questions are cheap Rp. 3,500 to Rp. 6,000, but the problem is the ojol Rp. 25,000, the parking is Rp. 10,000, this is what we will study," he explained.
Seeing the high cost of transportation, Risal said that his party would fix the integration of intermodal modes in the initial place of departure to the final destination, so that public transportation expenditures could be reduced.
