Jules Kunde Agrees On Extending Service Period At Barcelona Until 2030

JAKARTA - Jules Kunde has approved a contract extension with Barcelona until June 2030.

Kounde, whose current contract expires in June 2027, said his new contract would soon be signed.

"Yes, it's only a matter of days. When we get back, everything will be completed, so I'm happy. The process is quite fast, both the club and I have the same idea, namely to continue."

"I'm very happy here, I feel comfortable in this team, and I'm very motivated by the club's ambitions."

"Every year we fight for all titles and I have no intention of leaving. My contract is valid until 2030," the France National Team player said on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, local time, in Seoul - the Barcelona camp spot on the Asian tour.

The 26-year-old has become a mainstay in Barcelona's right-back position. He has scored seven goals and provided 18 assists in 141 appearances in all competitions since joining from Sevilla in 2022.

Kounde won the Spanish Super Cup and Copa del Rey for the 2024/2025 season with the Catalan giant.
