Crew Stabbing Colleagues At Muara Baru Pier, Victims Fall Into The Sea To Save Themselves
JAKARTA - A crew member (ABK) with the initials FA (46) was arrested by the Muara Baru Sector Police (Polsek) after stabbing his colleague, GS (45), in the Muara Baru Pier area, Penjaringan District, North Jakarta, on Monday (28/7) in the morning.
The stabbing occurred at around 04.00 WIB, after the two of them consumed liquor together. According to the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Muara Baru Police, Ipda Fauzy Widi P, the perpetrator was allegedly offended by the words of the victim who bullied him.
"The perpetrator got on the ship, took a knife, then chased the victim and immediately stabbed the victim in the stomach while the victim was careless," said Ipda Fauzy, Thursday (31/7).
As a result of the stab, the victim suffered severe injuries to the stomach until the contents of the stomach came out. In a state of injury, GS threw himself into the sea and hung on the rope of the ship to save himself from the perpetrator.

Meanwhile, the FA perpetrator was calmed down by the deputy captain of the ship and asked to get back on the ship. After boarding, the perpetrator put the knife used and fell asleep under the wheel of the ship.
Police officers who received the report immediately came to the location and managed to arrest the perpetrator at around 05.00 WIB.
"During the arrest, there was resistance because we were worried that the perpetrators were still carrying sharp weapons. However, with the help of other crew members, the perpetrators were finally arrested," said Ipda Fauzy.
The victim was immediately rushed to Atma Jaya Hospital for intensive treatment. Until now, the police have not been able to ask for information from the victim because his condition is still critical.
The perpetrator has been taken to the Muara Baru Police along with evidence for the investigation process. He was charged with Article 351 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code concerning severe persecution with the threat of imprisonment of more than five years.
