List Of 10 Cities With The Most Expensive Transportation Fees From The Ministry Of Transportation, First Order Bekasi

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) has released a list of 10 cities with the most expensive transportation costs in Indonesia. In first place is Bekasi. This data comes from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS).

Referring to the data from the Ministry of Transportation, the city with the most expensive transportation costs is Bekasi.

The average Bekasi resident spends IDR 1,918,142 per month on transportation costs. That figure, reaching 14.02 percent of the total daily cost of living.

The second position is occupied by Depok. Depok residents spend IDR 1,802,751 per month on transportation. This figure is 16.32 percent of the total daily cost of living.

Then, Surabaya. This local resident spends IDR 1,629,219 per month on transportation costs. This figure is equivalent to 13.61 percent of the total daily cost of living.

Meanwhile, Jakarta occupies the fourth position. Jakarta residents spend IDR 1,590,544 per month on transportation costs, or 11.82 percent of the total daily costs.

Director General of Multimodal Transportation Integration (Intram) of the Ministry of Transportation Risal Wasal said the transportation costs incurred by Jakarta residents were quite high. However, the expenditure of Jakarta residents is still lower than that of Surabaya and Bekasi.

"Jakarta averages Rp1,590,000 issued for transportation. Surabaya turns out to be higher than Jakarta. Bekasi is Rp1,900,000," he said in a press background in Jakarta, Thursday, July 31.

Then, Bogor is in fifth position. This local resident spends IDR 1,235,613 per month or 12.54 percent of the total daily cost of living.

Then, Batam. This local resident spent Rp1,170,616 per month. That figure is 12.84 percent of the total daily cost of living.

In seventh position is Makassar. The average number of people living in this area spends IDR 1,156,528 per month. This figure is 11.52 percent of the total daily cost of living.
