HONOR Power 2 Coming With 10,000mAh Jumbo Battery

HONOR is reportedly developing a new smartphone with a super large battery with a capacity of 10,000mAh, which is likely to be launched under the name HONOR Power 2.

Like its predecessor, HONOR Power, this device is also expected to use silicon-carbon battery technology to keep the body lean even though the battery capacity is very large. HONOR is predicted to release this phone in the first half of 2026.

HONOR previously launched HONOR Power last April with an 8,000mAh battery. Despite its large capacity, the design remains slim and comfortable to hold. Now, HONOR seems ready to go even further with Power 2 carrying a 10,000mAh battery a big jump in the smartphone world.

Earlier this month, popular tech tipster Digital Chat Station revealed that a Chinese brand was testing a device with a 10,000mAh battery. Now, he said that the device has entered the NPI (New Product Introduction) phase, signaling that development is already running actively.

Although the device name has not been revealed, many users on Weibo suspect that the device is HONOR Power 2. Reportedly, this phone will become a middle class smartphone released in the first half of 2026.

Big Battery Competition Gets Hotter

HONOR is also rumored to be making the 7,000mAh battery standard for its flagship phones, and 8,000mAh for the middle class. In fact, HONOR has just released HONOR X70 with a silicon-carbon battery with a capacity of 8,300mAh.

However, HONOR is not the only player in this arena. Here are some other brands that also enliven the jumbo battery trend:

Unfortunately, for Apple and Samsung fans, the hope of seeing a battery of this size on their flagship is still far away. Both brands have not shown any signs of following the jumbo battery trend in the near future.
